Situated on a steep SSE-facing slope of Knockaunapeebra Mountain, with a steeper slope to the S. Oval grass-covered area (int. diam. 4.9m N-S; 6.3m E-W; ext. diam. 5.65m N-S; 7.8m E-W) defined by a grass and heather-covered stone wall (Wth 0.75-0.8m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.52m), which is best preserved SE-WNW. The hut site is cut into the slope and defined by a scarp (H 0.7m) with some stones protruding WNW-E. There is no visible entrance. There is a stone wall (L 3.5m; Wth 1m) 4m SE of the hut site. Cairns (WA014-049----) are located c. 230m to the NNW on the summit of Knockaunapeedra.
