Located on a gentle SW-facing slope of the upper Coumaraglin valley, with a NNE-SSW ravine of one of the streams c. 10m to the W. A cairn has been dug out and is now visible as a grass-covered ring of stones (ext. diam. 7.6m E-W; 6.9m N-S; ext. H 0.3m at N and E to 1.6-1.7m at S and W) with a flat-bottomed quarry (int. diam. 3.1m N-S; 2.9m E-W; D 0.2-0.4m) at the centre. There is no evidence of any structural stones. This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 28 March 2013
