Situated on the S bank of an E-W stream on a gentle W-facing slope of the NE-SW upper Araglin river valley. There is a cist (dims. c. 1m x c. 0,8m) is obscured by grassed-in spoil in the burial cairn (WA014-033012-), with a second cist (WA014-033031-) nearby. Burial cairn (WA014-033011-) is c. 60m to the N, on the other side of the stream. (Moore 1995, 199-200, 209-10, 242, J3)
This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996).
