Situated on the S bank of an E-W stream on a gentle W-facing slope of the NE-SW upper Araglin river valley. There is a cist (dims. 0.9m x 0.6m; D 0.8m) with a large roofstone (dims. 1.45m x 0.6-1m) in the cairn (WA014-033012-). Another cist (WA014-033032-) is nearby in the cairn. Burial cairn (WA014-033011-) is c. 60m to the N, on the other side of the stream. (Moore 1995, 199-200, 209-10, 242, J3)
This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996).
