Located at Bearna na Madra gap in the Monavullagh Mountains, with a shoulder of the mountain c. 170m higher c. 750m to the N, and a shoulder c. 100m higher c. 900m to the S. Stone slabs lining the sides of a pit (dims. 1.3m x 0.9m; D 0.2-0.35m) are set into the ground 17m N of a standing stone (WA014-011001-) (Moore 1995, 199-200, J4).
