What is recorded here

Located in the NW quadrant of rath (WA013-012001-). A collapsed Z-shaped passage (total L 22m) is visible as a sunken area (Wth 1.8-3m; D 0.3-0.5m) running generally E-W. It includes a chamber (diam. 3m) built in an angle of the passage and it terminates in a large collapsed circular chamber (diam. 6m) at W. Some lintels and traces of the stone-lined edges of the passage are visible. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
