Archaeological monitoring (01E0515) at the E edge of a large site (dims. c. 60m N-S; c. 30m E-W) found walls associated with medieval pottery on the Exchange St. frontage. These could be interpreted as houses. They are in the area S of the 16th century building (WA009-005041-). (O'Carroll 2006)
