A house with a chimney is recorded on the terrier of the Down Survey map of Guilcagh parish (1655-6) at Coolefin3. It is described in the Civil Survey (1654-6) as the chief house of Pierce Power FitzThomas in 1640 (Simington 1942, 107), and it remains unlocated.
