What is recorded here

On a gentle E-facing slope. Marked as a circular enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Slightly dished, grass-covered subcircular area (dims. 30m NE-SW; 28m NW-SE) defined by traces of a widely spread bank (H c. 0.2m). Earthwork site (WA008-014----) is c. 120m to the W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
