Situated on a knoll, at the W side of Croughaun Hill overlooking a col between Croughaun Hill and the Comeragh Mountains to the W. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 35m E-W; 31m N-S) defined by traces of a fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.2m) W-NE, and a scarp (max. H 0.4m) elsewhere. There is no visible entrance.
