Marked as an embanked enclosure bisected by a NW-SE field bank on the 1840 (ext. diam. c. 40m) and the 1925 (ext. diam. c. 35m) eds. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated towards the top of a severe S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered platform (dims. 25m NE-SW; 20m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 0.3m at N (upslope) to 1.1m at S). A slight dip in the scarp at E (Wth 2.2m) may be the entrance. There is no visible fosse, and it is bisected by a NW-SE field bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 27th July, 2010.
