What is recorded here

Situated on a S-facing, heather-covered slope with N-S streams and valleys to the E and W. A series of features were interpreted as house foundations (Moore 1999, 237, no. 1663 ). A re-inspection has determined that these are turf-stands. These features have been plotted from Bing maps (see SMR file). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Revised by: Mary Tunney Date of revision: 6 March 2013

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
