Located on top of a field bank on a N-facing slope overlooking the E-W Nier River, c. 200m to the N. Rectangular conglomerate stone (dims. 0.55m x 0.45m; H 0.3m) with a basin (diam. 0.3m; D 0.15m) towards a corner of the upper surface. A possible standing stone (WA005-055----) lies c. 56m to the S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
