Situated on a plateau with ravines to the W and N. Subcircular area (dims. 31m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by the remains of an earthen bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6-1.3m) SW-N, which is reduced to a scarp (H 1m) N-SE and replaced by field wall SE-SW. There is no visible fosse, and the entrance cannot be identified. The S half of the interior is planted with coniferous trees.
