Marked only on the 1927 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and known locally as Fr. Sheehy's Well. It was called after a local priest who was a parish priest of Clogheen, Co. Tipperary, during Penal times. It is situated on a S-facing slope on the W bank of a N-S stream. The well does not survive, but was not considered to be a holy well.
