Situated on low-lying ground. A layer of burnt and broken stone (L 12m; max. T 0.9m) is visible in section in a land drain beneath a field bank at a point where there is a bend in the bank. At time of inspection it was not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
