What is recorded here

On the summit of Knockshanahullion Mountain in the Knockmealdown mountain range. A cairn (TS090-001----) on the summit of Sugarloaf Hill is visible to the E. A large cairn (dims. 32m N-S; 27m E-W; H above ext. 3.35m) composed of red sandstone rubble with very little vegetal cover apart from some moss. The centre of the cairn has been robbed out (D 2.5m) and in recent times a stone shelter has been built of dry-stone walling in the central hollow and three small cairns have been erected on the N edge of the cairn itself.
