What is recorded here

On a gentle NW facing slope in gently undulating terrain. Depicted on both the 1st (1840) and 2nd (1907) ed. OS 6-inch map as the site of Clocully Castle. There is no visible trace of the castle above ground level. A corrugated iron shed is situated where the castle formerly stood. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 29 November 2013
