In very undulating terrain, ground sloping gradually to the NE, a stream, c. 100m to the NE, flows roughly E-W. There are a lot of natural hillocks in the vicinity. This monument was identified as an enclosure from an aerial photograph (Bord Gais 6566). This enclosure is not visible at ground level.
