What is recorded here

On very gradual SW-facing slope in gently undulating pastureland. There is no visible trace of the monument above ground. The field has been reclaimed but is very wet pasture. It is described as a levelled fulacht fia in the Cork-Dublin gas pipeline report (Cleary, Hurley and Twohig 1987, 7), though it was not excavated. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 18 November 2013

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
