On a SE-facing slope in undulating pastureland. A lot of the surrounding field boundaries have been levelled and fields enlarged. Circular area (diam. 38m N-S; c. 39m E-W from 6-inch map due to vegetation on monument) enclosed by earthen bank, with some stone visible (Wth 1.5m crest, 3.5m base; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.72m) and wide, flat-bottomed external fosse (Wth 2.8m; D 0.44m) with steep counter-scarp. No entrance feature visible, may be obscured by vegetation, lot of brambles and scrub on bank. Gaps in bank in N and SE sectors appear to be created by cattle.
