According to Hurley (2004, 472) excavations on the North Quay as part of the main drainage scheme had revealed part of the Bridge Mill. This is documented since the 14th century but is thought to have gone out of use by the start of the 19th century (ibid.). No trace of this now remains above ground (ibid.).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
