In the external yard immediately N of the church of the Franciscan friary (TS083-019003-). According to a plaque on this font, it originally came from the church of St. Mary's, Clonmel (TS083-019001-). The sandstone font is square externally (Wth 0.61m; D 0.28 with a chamfer at the base D 0.08m) with a internal circular bowl (diam. 0.52m; D 0.23m) with a central hole (Wth 0.04m). All four angles are chamfered, with horizontal tooling, and have an engaged round column surmounted by a roll-moulding and engaged sphere.
