What is recorded here

In an external yard immediately N of the church of the Franciscan friary (TS083-019003-). A limestone pillar (H 0.52m; Wth 0.25m) with decoration on all four sides. One side has a Butler heater-shaped shield which bears a chief indented, this rests on the head of a winged figure in orans posture. Another side also has a heater-shaped shield per saltire with three ermine tails in the upper, dexter and sinister portions of the field and four in the lower portion, supported by a similar winged figure. One side is completely covered with a symmetrical vine-scroll motif and the fourth side bears a poorly preserved Piéta, above which there is carving which is too damaged to be identified.
