What is recorded here

Towards the base of a SW-facing slope in undulating terrain. A circular cropmark identified on an aerial photograph (CUCAP July 1970 BDR and ASIAP (28) 25-27, 03-08-1996). The field has been recently ploughed. There is no visible trace of the enclosure above ground. The aerial photograph also indicates the presence of two other circular cropmark enclosures, one (TS082-047001-) c. 70m to the SW and the other (TS082-047003-) to the E. This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
