On gradual SW-facing slope in undulating, hilly terrain. It is depicted on the 2nd (1904-05) ed. OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure which has been truncated in the N quadrant by an E-W field boundary and in the S quadrant by a NE-SW field boundary. Since then a public road has been constructed which runs E-W up to the E quadrant of the enclosure and then turns sharply northward. The enclosure is now within an overgrown area at the right angle in the road. A private roadway to a cottage runs past the SW quadrant. There is no clear trace of the enclosure. There is a lot of dumped stone along the edge of the 'grove' and ground disturbance in the interior. There are conifers growing in the interior, together with scrub, brambles and nettles. The monument was probably altered when the road was constructed and again modified when the bungalow and garden were built immediately to the NE of the enclosure.
