What is recorded here

On a natural rise on the W edge of a broad ridge which slopes, fairly steeply to a stream below, in reclaimed pastureland. The monument is depicted as a large, roughly circular enclosure on the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map, and the S half is depicted on the 2nd (1906) ed. OS 6-inch map (diam. c. 67m E-W), the N half appears to have been levelled at this stage. An aerial photograph (GB89.AA.11, 16 July 1989) shows the cropmark of a curvilinear enclosure defined by a fosse, with traces of an incomplete outer fosse on the NE side. There is now no visible trace of the enclosure above ground. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 07 January 2013

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
