On a SE-facing slope in the Galtee Mountains, overlooking an extensive plain and mountains beyond to the SE, otherwise surrounded by mountain slopes. An old red conglomerate sandstone standing stone (0.93m x 0.53m; H 0.8m), rectangular in plan and orientated NNE-SSW, with the broad flat faces to the SE and NW. The stone tapers towards the top (0.67m x 0.24m). Though relatively low, this standing stone is prominent on the open mountains slopes.
