On a NE-facing slope in undulating pastureland, with a stream flowing c. 300m to the NE and another c. 400m to the S. According to Power (1908, 60) 'a primitive church site' is associated with the graveyard (TS080-003001-). On the NW side of the graveyard, near the W corner, large stones delimit the edge of the wall (Wth 2m; int. H 0.63m; ext. H 0.33m) with a rubble sandstone core which may be the remains of the church.
