What is recorded here

Lying at the E end of the church interior are three fragments of a graveslab decorated with floriated cross and inscribed in black letter script, both in a 16th/17th-century style. They may be from the same graveslab described in the OS Letters as located near the S doorway, with the inscription in raised letters 'Hic jacet Ricardus Hanracan et Iohana Brenach uxor eius que obiit, x Februarii Anno Domini 1599' (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 1, 66). Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
