What is recorded here

A roughly circular stone-lined pit (diam. 0.9m; D 4.5m) was uncovered during land reclamation works in the late 1980s (Corcoran et. al. 1989, 93). The exact location of the pit is unknown. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 21 July 2015

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
