On a lower S-facing slope of Slievenamon mountain in Kilcash Wood. Enclosure (diam. 23.8m N-S; 22.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 6.7m; H above int. 1.57m; H above fosse (1.74m) and external fosse (Wth 1.3-2m; D 0.66-1.66m). In the S quadrant the inner bank is reduced to scarp (H 1.37m) and there is an outer bank (Wth 7.5m; ext. H 1.7m) with entrance feature (Wth 1.3m). The interior is densely planted with conifer trees and deciduous trees around the edge. There are the remains of a rectangular house (TS078-028----) in the interior.
