What is recorded here

On quite a steep S-facing slope in undulating pasture. The ground at base of hill is quite marshy. Enclosure (TS077-076----) formerly visible c. 120m to SW. Circular area (diam. 49m N-S; 48m E-W) defined by low scarp (H 0.68m) and shallow outer fosse, widest in S quadrant (Wth 1.4-5.2m; D 0.12m). The interior slopes quite steeply to S, with the natural slope. Field boundary immediately S of the ringfort has been removed. Limited quarrying into scarp in the S quadrant.
