What is recorded here

On flat terrain at base of a S-facing slope with Brackford river flowing NW-SE immediately SW of enclosure. Ringfort (TS077-068----) visible on opposing hill slope to SSE. Depicted as an enclosure on the 1st (1840), 2nd (1904) ed. and on the 25-inch OS 6-inch map (diam. c. 20m). Monument levelled with no visible trace at ground level. The high stone wall of a deer park runs NE-SW immediately NW of earthwork. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of revised upload: 18 December 2014
