What is recorded here

Excavated by Doody (1987, 10-21) between April and May 1982. Sub-rectangular enclosure (dims. 11m N-S; 4.8m E-W) defined by a steep-sided fosse (top Wth 1.1m; base Wth 0.65m; D 0.45m)(Doody 1987, 13). The fosse was filled with sandy silt with charcoal flecks throughout (ibid.). This enclosure was superimposed on a ditch barrow (TS077-046004-) and timber structure (TS077-046010-)(ibid.).
