In flat terrain with tillage fields on either side. A field boundary, running NE from 'Lisronagh' ringfort (TS077-030001-) towards Lisronagh settlement (TS077-010----) appears to be the remains of a old road (distance to settlement c. 500m) (Lyons 1937, 243). The boundary is described by the landowner as a 'double ditch' though it consists of a single large bank (Wth 2.26m crest, 4m base; H to NW 1.65m; H to SE 1.28m) with a field ditch running along the NW side.
