On crest of broad, flat-topped hill, enclosed by tillage. Bivallate monument (overall diam. 72m N-S; 71m E-W), banks heavily overgrown with scrub, interior nettle and bramble filled. Entrance (Wth 1.6m) in WSW quad. Inner bank (Wth 5m base; int. H 1.16m; H above fosse 1.7m) is round-topped, narrower than outer bank. Intervening flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 2m); outer bank is very broad and flat-topped (Wth 5m crest; H above fosse 1.71m; H above ext. 1.3m). According to landowner years ago he used to drive a tractor along the top of the outer bank when it was clear of vegetation. N quadrant located N of field boundary which is also a parish and townland boundary. NE section part of outer bank and possibly inner bank has been levelled, interior very overgrown.
