On gentle SE-facing slope just off crest of hill, in undulating terrain, under grass. Field boundary runs roughly E-W immediately S of monument, it kinks out to avoid the ringfort which is heavily overgrown with scrub. Ringfort (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a bank (H 1.06-1.57m SE and W quadrant respectively) largely reduced to scarp and fosse which is only evident along the E half and is heavily overgrown. Lot of dumping of sileage and refuse along E edge of ringfort which is fenced off with post and wire fencing.
