On a NE-facing slope, under pasture. Depicted on 1st (1840) ed. 6-inch OS map as an irregularly shaped enclosure with trees in interior and field boundary running roughly E-W along the northern portion and another running N-S from the S quadrant of the enclosure, this latter is still intact. However, by the 2nd (1901-05) ed. OS 6-inch map the monument had been removed and a field boundary created which runs E-W along the former S sector of the enclosure, this now has mature trees growing along it. This possible enclosure is not visible at ground level.
