In the S sector of an ecclesiastical enclosure (TS074-010----) known as St. Berrihert's Kyle and incorporated in an oval stone enclosure, stepped internally, built by the OPW in 1946 (Ó hÉailidhe 1967, 102). This slab is located in the E sector, on internal ledge. It is described by Ó hÉailidhe (1967, 112) as slab 27, composed of sandstone (dims 0.5m x 0.25m; T 0.08m). 'Lower portion of an outlined Latin cross. Round hollows are inside the angles on the face of the cross. The outline is sharply incised, 3mm deep. The back is not visible' (ibid.).
