In the S sector of an ecclesiastical enclosure (TS074-010----) known as St. Berrihert's Kyle and incorporated in an oval stone enclosure, stepped internally, built by the OPW in 1946 (Ó hÉailidhe 1967, 102). This slab is located in the S sector, at ground level. It is described by Ó hÉailidhe (1967, 111) as slab 17, composed of red sandstone (dims 0.66m x 0.18m; T 0.1m). 'Outlined, equal-armed cross with ovoid hollows in the angles and mounted on a slightly narrower shaft. The outline of the cross and shaft are lightly incised. The back of the stone is blank' (ibid.).
