On the edge of a S-facing slope in undulating terrain in cut meadow. A road running roughly E-W slightly truncates the SE quadrant. The monument outlined as roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30-40m) on the 2nd (1906) ed. OS 6-inch map. The enclosure has been levelled but the NE quadrant (dims. 25m x 8m) is still visible in the N-E-SE, defined by low, broad bank (Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.12m). SW of the enclosure the ground falls away quite steeply. The ground is badly poached in the SE quadrant where a ring-feeder has been placed.
