Lying in the NE angle of the former nave of the medieval parish church of St John the Baptist (TS070-040001-), currently the organ room of Holy Trinity C of I church. The Hackett/Roket graveslab (TS070-040080-) lies immediately to the W. The lower portion of a tapering limestone slab (L 0.79m; Wth at top 0.47m; Wth at base 0.41m; T 0.05m including an under-cut chamfer Wth 0.025m) which is somewhat chipped along the dexter edge. It is decorated with an incised cross-shaft with a stepped base. According to Maher (1997, 59-60) 'an incised lozenge, which is quartered, occurs on the middle of the cross-stem. It is, perhaps, contemporary. An inscription in Lombardic lettering occurs along the base and sinister side. It is illegible'.
