In mature oak woodland of Ballinard Wood, on a gentle E-facing slope. Well preserved sub-circular area (dims. 34m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by well formed earthen bank (Wth 8.45; int. H 1.9m; ext. H 2.55m) and fosse (Wth 11m; D 2.15m). Slightly staggered causewayed entrance (Wth 2.0m) at ESE and breach (Wth 2.2m) at ENE. Interior in woodland with carpet of bluebells and wild garlic. Ringfort (TS070-030----) located 300m to S.
