In pasture, with gentle downslope to N and E. Sub-circular area (dims. 40m N-S; 45m E-W) defined by earthen bank (Wth 11m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2.55m) which is reduced to scarp (Wth 7.5m; H 2m) N-E-SE. Breach (Wth 4.2m) at E. Intervening fosse (Wth 12m; D 1.85) is wet at S and W and contains stagnant water W-N-SE. Intervening bank (Wth 12m; int. H 1.85m; ext H. 1.15m) E-S-SW and the remains slightly visible NW-N-E. Outer fosse (Wth 8m; D 0.8m) E-S-SW is infilled SW-W-N-E. Trace of outer bank (Wth 8.9m; int. H 1.0m; ext. H 0.2m). Interior generally level. Enclosure (TS069-023----) located 300m to NNE. Castle (TS069-038001-) and enclosure (TS069-038002-) located 550m to ENE.
