An 'Old Deer Park' is indicated in Thomastown demesne on the 1st (1840) ed. 6-inch OS map. It is possible that this deerpark occupied the entire Thomastown Demesne South townland which has a stream running N-S through it. However, until the boundary of the deerpark can be established it remains unlocated.
