On a very slight rise in flat ground with tillage in surrounding fields. A raised roughly circular area (diam. 23m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by scarp (H 0.6m-1.1m over a slope Wth of 2.2-3.2m), which is lower from W-NE, and a wide, flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 3.5m; D 0.1-0.15m). There is scrub growing on the scarp from the NE-S, brambles in the SW quadrant and a large beech tree on the edge of the scarp in the W quadrant. The interior is relatively clear of scrub. The lack of a bank and the relatively small interior suggests this is not a typical ringfort.
