In rough, wet area, on W-flood plain of River Suir. Access not gained. Inaccessible due to impenetrable growth and very wet nature of underlying ground. Pond adjacent to S. Depicted on 1905 OS 6-inch map as oval mound (c. 10m N-S; c. 7m E-W) with drain (long-axis c. NNW-SSE) located c. 10m to E. Ringfort (TS068-041----) c. 220m to WNW and Suir Castle (TS068-043----) is visible c. 160m to E, on opposite side of river.
