In pasture, on a gentle W-facing slope. Sub-oval enclosure (dims. c. 43m N-S; c. 42m E-W) defined by earthen bank (Wth 9m; int. H c. 0.8m; ext. H c. 1.5m) S-SW and reduced to low bank (int. Wth c. 3.35m; ext. Wth c. 3.1m; int. H c. 0.5m; ext. H 0.7m) SW-W-N and scarp SE-S and N-NE (Wth c. 3.3m; H c. 0.5m). E-arc truncated by townland boundary (long axis N-S) NE-E-SE. This arc is in a different townland of Racecourse and only a slight visible surface trace was noted. Remains of an external fosse (Wth c. 8.55m; D c. 0.95m) are well defined SE-SW and no trace SW-W-N-NE. Gap (Wth c. 4m)is well defined through bank at N.
