In Athassel Abbey (TS068-013----), in a vaulted store on the E range, below the former chapter house. A tapering graveslab (L 0.64m; Wth at top 0.22m; Wth at base 0.19m; D 0.13m) decorated with an incised cross. The cross-head consists of four intersecting trefoils with an outer double line, beneath the cross-head there is a double-line circular knop and the cross-shaft terminates in a double-line trefoil. The edge of the slab, where it survives at the head, lower dexter side and base, has a roll-moulding. The sinister side has been cut along its entire length when the stone was reused as a window head or sill, with a splayed ingoing cut into it (L 0.23-0.34m; D 0.05m). The dexter side has a shallower, slightly longer (L 0.33-36m) rebate cut into it. The graveslab is 13th/14th century in date.
